National Truth and Reconciliation Day

Each year we wear orange shirts to honour that Every Child Matters. We acknowledge the history of residential schools and the intergenerational impact on entire aboriginal communities and their culture. At TGC we are committed to valuing and learning about the culture of the First Nations, Inuit, and Metis Peoples. As Canadians, we have a duty to educate ourselves on this history, and listen to the voices, experiences, and stories of Aboriginal people.
